Sherrod Brown and Elizabeth Warren speak out against bank ownership of physical assets

Democratic Senators Elizabeth Warren and Sherrod Brown penned a letter to the Fed yesterday that warned of the perils from banks owning physical assets unrelated to the business of banking.

The six largest U.S. banks have a combined total of 14,420 subsidiaries, or roughly 2,400 each, reports Greg Robb.
