Beginning today in Manchester Indiegogo visits 11 cities throughout the United Kingdom to promote itself and the concept of crowdfunding in general. It is hoped the tour will help generate £ 1 million of investment in local startups.
At each stop Indiegogo will educate companies and individuals on the benefits of crowdfunding and of the steps in a successful campaign. Indiegogo personnel are joined by corporate partners and other experts who will advise attendees on different aspects. They will also provide perks.
