Radius Bank launches Pay a Friend service

Radius Bank has introduced a new service that allows account holders to securely send payments via phone, tablet or computer.

Personal checking account holders access Radius Pay a Friend from their online or mobile banking account. They enter the recipient’s email address or mobile number along with the payment amount before verifying the transaction with their debit card pin code.

The recipient instantly receives notification and enters their debit or account information to receive the funds.

Radius Pay a Friend joins Apple Pay and Radius Pay powered by LevelUp in the Radius product suite. Android Pay and Samsung pay are scheduled to be unveiled later this year.

“Radius Pay a Friend provides a great user experience and is another example of our commitment to providing our clients with the best in banking technology,” Radius Bank President and CEO Michael A. Butler said. “In just the last six months, we’ve introduced P2P and Apple Pay, and launched new partnerships with innovators Aspiration Partners LLC and Prosper, all of which is made possible by our industry-leading virtual banking platform.”

“All of these products align with consumers’ increasing preference for digital banking, and we look forward to continuing to innovate in 2016.”
