Members of the military, first responders, law enforcement, firefighters, health care professionals and teachers get a nice ‘thank you’ when buying or selling a home in Fairfield County, Connecticut.
The Heroes Home Advantage sees realtors, attorneys, title agents, home inspectors and insurance agencies provide discounted rates or closing gifts where allowable by law to home heroes. Participating realtors are donating 25 percent of their commission in cash back or credit. Combined savings can reach $5,000.
Heroes Home Advantage teamed up with Realtor Joelle Bentley of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, loan officer Ginny Anderson of Citizens Bank, home inspector Kara Golden of Tiger Home & Building Inspections, insurance agent Marissa Barbera of Charter Oak Insurance Agency Inc., and attorney Jan Costello of Pierson Law Firm, LLC.

Both current and former members of the listed professions are eligible.
Heroes Home Advantage was founded in 2011 by Michelle Ladd, who had two sons serve overseas with the armed forces. It operates in 33 states with more than 650 participating professionals. Heroes have saved more than $3.5 million.
