Fixed-income alternative investment firm Looking Glass Investments has hired Brad Darnell its Chief Technology Officer effective Feb. 22.
He will focus on platform development, data management and technical support.
It should be a simple transition as Mr. Darnell has served in a similar capacity for Looking Glass Investments as an outside contractor for more than three years.
“We welcome Brad in this expanded role as we continue to experience significant growth,” said Matthew O’Malley, President and Chief Operating Officer of LGI. “Brad elegantly integrates our innovative statistical and mathematical methods with our custom software, and has been doing so for years. He has an exceptional ability to support our lending strategy and I could not be more pleased with his decision to join LGI full time.”
Mr. Darnell was most recently an Application Lifecycle Management Consultant with a Midwestern software and technology development firm. He was also the Manager of Voice and Data Systems at Milwaukee’s BMO Harris Bradley Center.
Darnell most recently was an Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Consultant with a leading software and technology development firm with offices in Chicago, IL, Milwaukee, WI, and Madison, WI. Previously, he was the Manager of Voice and Data Systems at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, WI.
