PrimeRevenue adds Capolongo to executive team

Working capital finance provider PrimeRevenue has named Dominic Capolongo as executive vice president and head of global funding.

Mr. Capolongo was most recently managing director of financial institutions investment banking at FBR and has also worked at RBC Capital Markets, Jefferies and Credit Suisse. He has a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a BA from SUNY Binghamton.

“I have the responsibility for overseeing all of our banking and capital markets initiatives,” Mr. Capolongo began.

Mr. Capolongo added PrimeRevenue conducts regular business with 55 financial institutions and has established relationships with several dozen more. He will oversee the team that works with each of those institutions to ensure an optimal relationship.

PrimeRevenue’s capital markets business and most related staff are located there, Mr. Capolongo explained. He will help grow that new initiative and act as a conduit for investments from non-financial services investors such as pension funds.

Mr. Capolongo said his experience with supply chain financing dates back to the mid-1980s. He has been involved as both a lawyer and investment banker. He met PrimeRevenue CEO PJ Bain through a mutual contact and the tow kept in touch. In May Mr. Bain invited Mr. Capolongo to join PrimeRevenue.

“I was excited about it,” Mr. Capolongo admitted. “For me it was a bit of a return to old days and some of the things I’ve done in the past.

“PrimeRevenue is cutting edge, entrepreneurial and forward thinking. We are taking an old line business and turning it in a new way with technology that is disinter mediating banks. It’s a fantastic opportunity.”

A wholly owned PrimeRevenue subsidiary, PrimeRevenue Capital Management offers funding sources for corporate clientele and investment opportunities. It also allows insurance companies, pension funds and other non-bank firms access to PrimeRevenue technology.
