Digital investment advisor Stash makes pair of key hires

 

Digital investment advisor Stash has made two additions to its executive team.

Peter Kalmakis is the new Chief Technology Officer. He will be responsible for technology development and execution, platform scalability, infrastructure security, tech acquisition and innovation initiatives and staff recruitment. Mr. Kalmakis was the cofounder and CTO at roommate matching startup Symbi and also worked at Microsoft.

Matt Hamilton becomes vice president of product, bringing more than a decade of startup experience . He is charged with vision development, customer research, and goal definition. Mr. Hamilton was senior product manager at mobile wallet developer Venmo and cofounder and CEO of travel startup Tourbie.
