Blockchain application platform Lisk released version 0.6.0 to its main roster this week. Lisk now runs on the latest LTS Node.JS 6.9 release tree.
“This announcement marks a major update for our core software,” Lisk Foundation president Max Kordek said. “The backbone of Lisk has been running on Node ‘0.12.x’ since release and while this has saved us exceptionally well to date, it’s time to transition to Node.JS 6.9, the most recent LTS release.”
The updates also assist with stability and security of the Lisk Core, Mr. Kordek added.
In a release Lisk said the updated version improves the delegate user experience and allows for future software developments.
