Online real estate marketplace lender and crowdfunding platform Patch of Land has named Matthew Zall its chief investment product officer in advance of its push into the single family rental market.
The move comes with new longer term, permanent financing products to capitalize on a non-owner occupied, single family market which tops $6 trillion.
Mr. Zall has financing, product development, real estate and mortgage experience. In a release Patch of Land said Mr. Zall pioneered three of the first multi-borrower single family rental securitizations that quickly propelled B2R Finance into a multibillion dollar lender. He was a commercial real estate trader at J.P. Morgan and Bear Stearns at earlier points in his career.
“We are excited about adding Matt to our executive team as he is passionate about our mission to leverage technology to improve the borrowing experience for the real estate entrepreneur and at the same time offer investors from both Main Street and Wall Street the opportunity to participate in this attractive asset class,” Patch of Land CEO Paul Deitch said.
