Indiegogo sheds Distribber video distribution service

Indiegogo rebrandsIndiegogo announced Friday it has sold Distribber, the video distribution service it purchased in 2010.

Distribber enables producers of video content to post on iTunes, Netflix and Amazon without ceding rights or back-end revenue.

distribberGiven the solid patronage from producers of such content on Indiegogo, the company stated it will still work with Distribber and other companies of their ilk to meet the needs of their customer base.

In the release Indiegogo stated this will allow them to focus on core services while still providing needed video assistance through external partnerships.

DiGi Worldwide now owns Distribber.

They are a conglomeration of companies related to film production, and include casting and distribution services along with peer forums.
