Friends, family and supporters of the two soldiers killed in terrorist attacks have set up an Indiegogo campaign to raise money for surviving family members.

The campaign, called Stand on Guard Fund, has already gained traction with individual and corporate backers coming forward in large numbers.

Here’s an excerpt from the campaign page:

This week has seen two brave Canadian soldiers murdered by terrorists for no other reason than their uniform and dedication to the defence of this great country.

As Canadians, and friends of Canadians, we can show our support by making a contribution to this fund that will be evenly and completely distributed between the families of Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent and Corporal Nathan Cirillo.

Show the families of Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent & Corporal Nathan Cirillo we will not forget their sacrifice.
