Lending Club has greatly increased its technical capability with the hire of Scott Hansma as Senior Vice President of Technology.
Mr. Hansma spent the previous 12 years at Salesforce, rising from a junior programmer to its chief architect and playing key roles in the development of key Salesforce technologies including search, file storage, multitenant database management, continuous integration, security, monitoring and datacenter automation.
“Scott is a true pioneer and leader in cloud computing and agile systems,” said Lending Club CTO John MacIlwaine. “He’s a renowned developer and architect with broad technical scope and influence and a particular focus on large scale systems.”
Prior to joining Saleforce, Mr. Hansma was a Staff Engineer at E-piphany. He served as Technical Lead and author of the 500,000-line Analytic Manager, an analytic tool for E-piphany’s CRM platform.
Mr. Hansma is the holder of several patents related to multitenant and on-demand database systems.
Mr. Hansma earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon in 1998, graduating with a 3.92 QPA.
