Bank of Japan’s Kuroda: CPI likely to be around zero for time being

TOKYO (Reuters) – Bank of Japan Governor Haruhiko Kuroda said on Monday that year-on-year changes in the overall consumer price index are likely to be around zero for the time being.

Consumer prices are likely to start rising again once the impact from a decline in oil prices starts to fade, Kuroda said at the upper house budget audit committee.
