Online real estate investment platform AssetAvenue has named Peter Coleman as its new Chief Financial Officer. His responsibilities will include leading financial management and accounting functions and advising on growth-centered corporate finance strategy.
Mr. Coleman was most recently CFO for several technology startups, including FuHu, a designer of children’s consumer products and services, SeaChange Capital Partners, a merchant bank serving the non-profit sector, and LOYAL3 Holdings, a fin-tech company employing social technologies in capital markets.
While at SeaChange, Mr. Coleman played a pivotal role as the company raised $60 million through four primary rounds.
Between 2008 and 2011 Mr. Coleman was CFO of Merriman Holdings and CEO of its subsidiary Merriman Capital. He received credit for keying Merriman’s turnaround. Earlier in his career he worked at Charles Schwab, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and SunTrust Bank.
