BFS acquires Entrust

bfsSmall business financing platform Business Financial Services (BFS) has acquired merchant funder Entrust Merchant Solutions

BFS began financing Entrust clients in 2009. Over the last six years Entrust grew into one of BFS’s largest independent sales organizations.

logoBFS CEO and Co-Founder Marc Glazer said the two companies are a natural fit.

“The two companies share a philosophy of empowering small business growth through timely and flexible financing. Entrust is a natural extension for our brand.”

Entrust was founded in New York City in 2007. It has additional locations in Long Island and Tampa, Fla.

Entrust CEO Ilya Fridman will still run Entrust and will directly report to Mr. Glazer.

BFS funds companies across more than 400 industries, operating in all 50 states plus Canada and the United Kingdom. It recently passed the $1 billion funding mark since its inception.
