BorrowersFirst has hired former Lending Club Senior Vice President Zhi Zhou as its new Chef Risk Officer and Head of Enterprise Analytics.
Mr. Zhou had been with Lending Club since 2009, joining the platform when it employed 20 people. He started in credit and fraud management before progressing into credit policy, new product development, product integration, strategy execution, audit, and vendor management.
Prior to joining Lending Club, Mr. Zhou served as Vice President at both Washington Mutual and Chase.

Mr. Zhou earned a master’s degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis and a bachelor’s from Lawrence University.
