Basware has introduced system additions to help buyers and suppliers use its network.
The aptly named Business Directory is a search engine for Basware users looking to add trading contacts to their personal e-invoicing address book. It allows users to import supplier and customer lists and have the system automatically match them.
Now available in the Nordic countries, the feature will be rolled out in other countries through 2016.
“Suppliers might not realize that being part of the Basware network gives them free access to interact with other customers,” Basware senior vice-president of products and services Imari Nurmi said.
“The network is continuously evolving and we’ll be looking to add new features to further cement its position as the global network of choice for businesses and government.”
Basware says its Commerce Network connects one million companies in 100 countries.
