Small business financing company National Funding has released a tax e-book designed to help small business owners prepare for tax season.
The 23-page e-book provides a document checklist, tax form chart, deductions listings, and an explanation of Section 179, which allows business owners to deduct up to $500,000 worth of equipment purchases or lease payments.
“National Funding created the online tax guide to empower and educate small business owners about their taxes,” National Funding Founder and CEO David Gilbert said. “Many of our customers reach out to us about needing funding for tax payments this time of the year, so we hope this book helps them save money and clear up confusion about the complex and ever-changing tax regulations.
The results of a recent National Small Business Association survey showed the average business owner spends 40 hours in tax filing and preparation. One in four spend at least three weeks each year on taxes, and 53 percent say the time spent on taxes is the greatest threat to their business.
