Mobile payment fintech company Net Element has launched Unified Payments, a gift and loyalty platform for SMEs.
Unified Payments allows SMEs to centralize customer data spinning in-store, online and via social and mobile channels. Real-time data analysis produces sophisticated customer segments for which personalized omnichannel marketing campaigns can be developed. It is integrated with many mobile, EMV compliant POS systems and card reader terminals.
Even though physical stores are still the most popular gift card purchase location, virtual and digital gift card sales increased 33 percent between 2012 and 2014.
