Mobile payment solutions provider Novo Dia Group has obtained its Level 3 EMV certification. The certification allows merchants using the NDG Mobile Market+ application to safely process EMV transactions via a mobile POS system. The use of EMV chip cards make replication difficult.
“NDG’s latest certification indicates our commitment to ensure that merchants have the strongest level of card data protection, as well as the resources to make the transition to EMV technology as easy as possible,” Novo Dia Group president Josh Wiles said. “It keeps our merchants ahead of the curve and makes the Mobile Market+™ suite of applications the most comprehensive mPOS solution in the country.”
The NDG Mobile Market+™ application gives registered farmers markets and direct marketing farmers, mobile vendors and small retailers the ability to quickly and safely accept Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits on-site. More than one-third of registered farmers markets and direct marketing farmers in the U.S. use the NDG Mobile Market+™ application.
More than 2,000 farmers markets and direct marketing farmers have enrolled with NDG Mobile Market+ since the beginning of 2015 through the MarketLink program, an initiative helping farmers and markets accept SNAP and electronic payments
