VCNetwork.co has launched a worldwide mentorship program to help startups scale and obtain funding.
Founded by Jenny Q. Ta and Shinta Witoyo Dhanuwardoyo, VCNetwork.co is a database of independent venture capitalists. They accept and review business plans, with select ones being shared with their VC network. In a release they said more than 60 percent of startups need help creating suitable pitch decks and ideas. That was the impetus for the mentorship program.
“We noticed immediately…what ‘wantrepreneurs’ need, more than anything, is direct, one-on-one time with VCs worldwide to learn precisely what funders are looking for in startups,” Ms. Ta said.
Applicants create a profile and submit a business plan with VCNetwork.co who then matches them with possible funding matches.
