Online real estate investing marketplace RealtyShares has raised more than $200 million in capital from its investors for residential and commercial real estate projects across the United States.
RealtyShares has more than 25,000 accredited and institutional investors participating on its marketplace and has launched more than 400 investment opportunities. The minimum investment is $5,000.
The company has some momentum heading into the final quarter. After seeing their largest ever quarter with a $43.6 million Q2, RealtyShares attracted 4,500 new accredited investors in August.
RealtyShares recently closed a $30 million line of credit through an institutional partner which allows them to pre-fund every debt and select equity deals. By putting its own balance sheet into investments the company says it signifies an increased commitment that should comfort new investors.
