Voice fraud prevention and authentication provider Pindrop has added a trio of senior engineering executives.
Robert Krohn is senior vice president of engineering. He brings more than two decades of experience in software, cloud and system engineering leadership, general management and operations. Mr. Krohn has been an executive at Cisco and Juniper Networks.
Ephraim Dobbins becomes vice president of engineering for fraud detection products. He previously held leadership roles at Plexxi and Acme Packet and brings a background in telecommunications, software and IP. Mr. Dobbins will supervise the phone channel customer service experience.
Chris Halaschek is the new vice president of engineering. He brings a background in building engineering teams and technology companies in the fields of security, data analytics and machine learning. Armed with a Ph.D in computer science, Mr. Halaschek was CTO at Voxa, Hashgo and Clados Management.
They are part of more than 50 engineers hired by Pindrop in 2016, the company said.
“The call center of the future will provide a dramatically different experience for consumers than they are used to today,” Pindrop cofounder and CEO Vijay Balasubramanian said. “There is a huge opportunity within enterprise to streamline call center operations by providing a seamless customer experience.”
