TMC, Wachsman PR and Gulf Pearl Ltd. host a one-day conference discussing initial coin offerings (ICO) in Fort Lauderdale on Thurs., Feb. 9. The Blockchain Event will be held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Boward County Convention Center.
Wachsman PR founder David Wachsman said approximately $200 million was raised through ICOs last year and a greater sum is expected this year. That makes now the time for the industry to share ideas to foster growth.
“For perhaps the first time, industry leaders will gather to dissect each and every aspect of ICOs, with traditional venture firms and attorneys from the United States and Europe weighing in,” Mr. Wachsman said. “Through the Blockchain Event, past, present and future ICOs will share their visions, technologies and experiences.”
The day includes upcoming ICOs and panel discussions with audience participation.
ICONOMI will share their experience as one of the first companies to raise more than $10 million through an ICO. An executive will discuss best practices and look ahead in the opening keynote.
