Transpay adds Moroccan route

B2B/B2P cross-border payment platform Transpay now offers direct-to-bank deposits in Morocco. Users can send local currency payments to Moroccan accounts in dirham, which is the local currency.

In a release, Transpay cited high internet penetration rates and growing markets for freelance, travel, commerce and even craftwork as local producers grow their businesses online as reasons for the move.

“The efforts of both private and public sector are helping to create the necessary infrastructure to grow the digital economy to Morocco,” Transfast CEO Samish Kumar said (Transfast is Transpay’s parent company).
