Ron Suber invests in Money360, becomes advisor

Prosper Marketplace president Ron Suber likes Money360 so much he is joining the company as a strategic advisor.

Mr. Suber has also invested in the real estate marketplace lender.

Before joining Prosper in 2013 Mr. Suber was managing director at Wells Fargo Securities, head of global sales and marketing (and senior partner) with Merlin Securities, president of Spectrum Global Fund Administration, and senior managing director and manager of global clearing sales at Bear Stearns.

Mr. Suber is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences and investor in several emerging fintechs.

“The desire for secured debt investments in U.S. commercial real estate assets from accredited investors and institutions around the world remains insatiable,” Mr. Suber said. “The risk-adjusted returns and liquidity distributions provided by Money360 are among the most attractive in the asset class.”

Money360 founder and CEO Evan Gentry looks forward to Mr. Suber’s contributions.

“Ron is the leading thought leader and voice for marketplace lending and the financial technology industry,” Mr. Gentry said. “We are thrilled to officially bring him on board and gain access to his expertise and deep business network.”
