SaaS banking platform provider Mambu has opened a Miami office to support its 32 clients in the Americas. Edgardo Torres was appointed its managing director. Mr. Torres has been a managing director for several European software companies, worked at Hewlett Packard and was once vice minister of the Puerto Rico Department of Economic Development and Commerce.
“By enhancing our presence we intend to grow our client base and better support our existing users and partners in the region,” Mr. Torres said. “Mambu helps bring better digital-first financial services to market faster, cheaper and easier than ever before.”
One Mambu client is Grameen America. Its president and CEO Andrea Jung is bullish on Mambu.
“With Mambu’s platform in place, we will be able to radically transform our member experience, improve our staff efficiency, and provide powerful digital solutions to accelerate our organization’s growth and impact for women entrepreneurs nationwide.”
