Online marketplace Biz2Credit and Columbia Business School are joining forces to explore emerging issues in digital finance. Frontiers of Digital Finance takes place at Lerner Hall on Columbia University’s New York City campus on Wed., May 31.

The one-day event addresses digital finance adoption, digital business models and analytics, and fintech trends. The blockchain, AI/machine learning, risk analytics, regulation, and asset management are among the subject areas.

“The conference will drive a robust discussion among industry leaders, policy makers and academics on where the fintech industry stands today, what policy implications surround digital finance growth, and how proprietary, integrated, and open systems are changing the structure and delivery of financial services,” said Biz2Credit Co-founder and CEO Rohit Arora. “We believe the Frontiers of Digital Finance conference will provide actionable insights from the top experts in the industry to build a knowledge ecosystem and accelerate adoption of digital innovation among banks and other financial institutions to better serve their customers.”

Scheduled presenters include Mr. Arora, Goldman Sachs head of digital finance Harit Talwar, Yale University senior research scholar Gregory Fleming, Columbia University’s Robert D. Calkins professor of international business Bernd Schmitt, Dan Simmonds from Deloitte Consulting, Orrick global head of the capital markets practice and co-head of global fintech practice Christopher Austin, and Santander InnoVentures partner Pascal Bouvier.
