Marketplace lender Elevate has named Tony Leopold the general manager of its flagship product Rise. He is charged with customer acquisition, channel strategy, pricing, credit and market expansion.
Mr. Leopold has close to two decades of business experience, most recently with United Rentals, where he served as vice president of strategy and business development. He started his career and Bain and Company.

Elevate has originated more than $4 billion in nonprime credit to more than 1.6 million consumers since its inception.
