Fraud prevention software firm Risk Ident opens US HQ, names managing director
Risk Ident has opened its new US headquarters. The provider of machine learning-supported fraud prevention software is setting up shop at the Cambridge Innovation Center near Boston, MA.
The move allows the company better access to a significant market for its services in the prevention of payment fraud, account takeovers, and identity theft.
Dustin Clinard is the managing director of the American operation.
“I’m very excited about this new role,” Mr. Clinard said. “Risk Ident is a powerful company with an experienced team in fraud prevention, machine learning and data analytics. All retailers that process online payments are facing an increasing fraud threat in many respects, and our US expansion allows us to serve the needs of our existing clients as well as strengthen the base of clients operating both internationally and domestically.”
