DOVU token sale scheduled for Oct. 3

Transportation data marketplace DOVU has scheduled a token sale to run Oct. 3-31.

“There is an urgent need for practical uses of blockchain technology to bring it to the masses,” DOVU said in a release. “Leveraging blockchain technology for mobility solutions has broad market appeal.”

DApps built on DOVU’s protocol have such potential uses as sending unused electricity from vehicles back to the grid. The DOVU token will help market participants receive benefits from micropayments and smart contracts.

Irfon Watkins

DOVU is led by CEO Irfon Watkins, CMO Arwen Smit and COO Krasina Mileva. Its advisors are FanDuel co-founder Rob Jones and former Ethereum board member Lars Klawitter.

“There is an urgent need for practical uses of blockchain technology to bring it to the masses,” Mr. Watkins said. “Leveraging blockchain technology for mobility solutions has broad market appeal. Blockchain will make sure everybody will be fairly rewarded for their contribution to the mobility ecosystem.”

DOVU is offering a 20 per cent bonus to early investors. Raised funds will go to hiring blockchain developers, marketing, and business development.Crunchbase link
