Fujitsu announced this week the Japanese Bankers Association (JBA) will employ its cloud service-based blockchain platform to be made available over Fujitsu Cloud Service K5. The Collaborative Blockchain Platform is a financial services blockchain testbed environment the JBA plans to offer member banks. The service will begin to be offered in October.
The testbed environment for applications using blockchain can be directed to settlement, fund transfers, and identity and time-of-transaction authentication. JBA will support practical implementation of applications.
The service includes standardized business APIs, including digital asset management and the operations of other industries.
