The Gibraltar Stock Exchange Group (GSX) this week named Andrew Pal its new chief strategy officer (CSO).
GSX is expanding and aiming to develop even further into the Asia-Pacific region. The Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange already has active links in the area, with strategic partners including cryptocurrency exchange QUOINE. These partnerships have already allowed GBX to strengthen and consolidate their position in the region.
Mr. Pal has worked in Singapore and Sydney with UBS and as an advisor to both brokerages and cryptocurrency and traditional exchanges. GSX believes the move will be instrumental in positioning GBX as a world-leading institutional-grade token sale platform, and digital asset exchange that is a subsidiary of a European Union (EU) regulated stock exchange.
“As the GSX Group continues to develop, we see the Asia-Pacific region as having huge potential in the future,” GSX CEO Nick Cowan said. “We welcome Andrew to the team, with his experience and knowledge, we know that his contribution towards developing the APAC region will have a huge impact on the future evolution of the business.”
“With my considerable experience and a clear vision on what it takes to deliver a successful global business regionally, I look forward to the role of CSO (APAC) at GSX Group,” Mr. Pal said.
