Ingenico Group, a payment services provider, this week announced the successful UK launch of a new mobile payment solution for merchants, in partnership with European merchant service provider.
UK merchants of all sizes can bring the point of sale direct to their customers via a payment device integrated into their existing POS systems.
Using Ingenico’s Link/2500 mobile payment device, connected via Paymentsense’s Connect software, retailers can quickly implement a fully mobile checkout experience without complex integration or major system changes. Consumers can pay with contactless, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and the full breadth of traditional cards.
For a retailer, that means less queuing, a more personal consumer experience and more selling space. For a restaurant, it means a better pay-at-table experience.
The technology behind the solution combines Ingenico’s new Link2500 payment device with an API connecting directly to Paymentsense’s proven cloud-based Connect solution.
Paymentsense backs this solution with a 24/7 support service.
