Bankless Times is happy to be a media partner of DECENT, whose founder and CEO Matej Michalko invites everyone to the Asia Future Fintech Innovation Conference.

China proves again and again to be a bustling hub of activity. The population nearing 1.4 billion, combined with the fact that most of the world’s technological devices are produced in the country, lead to a rapidly growing interest in new and innovative tech advancements. No doubt, blockchain has been at the top of the list of leading innovative technologies, and China is a major player in the industry.

Despite government crackdowns on crypto-related exchanges and fundraising initiatives, make no mistake about it—China is very much interested in driving the adoption of blockchain technology. This can be seen by the significant increase of blockchain and fintech conferences popping up all over the country, especially in the booming city of Shanghai—a city where we have established ourselves among the industry’s finest.

As co-hosts of the upcoming 5th Asia Future Fintech Innovation Conference in Shanghai, we aim to educate the general public about the benefits of blockchain technology and create a positive networking environment for all attendees. The conference is split into two days which will cover the different forums. The first day is focused on fintech innovation through smart banking and cybersecurity. The following day is anything blockchain-related, from applications to technical benefits.

Our legendary list of speakers will present their learnings and participate in discussions about current trends within the fintech and blockchain industries and delve into their views on the technological future of the world we live in. The conference also showcases the strength of the local community and vast interest in the topic. We are expecting more than 1500 attendees with speakers from all over the world. The themes and degree of detail will vary between agendas, but the overall goal remains the same—to nurture networking and educate the masses.

As a public blockchain provider, we work closely with the global community to inform and educate the populace on how blockchain benefits will change the world. Having users and developers adopting blockchain is the only way we can expect mainstream usage and future innovations.

DECENT already has a strong presence in China with several offices, including one in Shanghai and one in the country’s capital city, Beijing. I’ve been in the blockchain business since 2013 and following all things crypto-related since 2010. The trends that I’ve seen all point to China becoming an industry powerhouse in the very near future, which is why I made it a priority to establish a solid foundation in this tech-hungry region.

I am honored to represent DECENT, along with several of my fellow colleagues, at the 5th Asia Future Fintech Innovation Conference, and I am certainly looking forward to meeting the other speakers and attendees. The conference, itself, is suiting up to be one of the largest fintech gatherings in China this year, and I, hereby, invite anyone interested in learning more about the newest advancements in blockchain and fintech to join us in Shanghai on June 26 & 27, 2019.
