Top Digital Asset Treasury (DAT) stocks are in freefall this year, erasing billions of dollars in value. Michael Saylor’s MSTR stock price has crashed by 76% from its all-time high, and its market cap has fallen from $122.5 billion to $45 billion today.
BMNR and MSTR Stocks Have Crashed This Year
Tom Lee’s BMNR stock has slumped from $160 to $17, and its valuation has fallen from $16.1 billion to $9.7 billion. This crash happened as Ethereum retreated from $4,950 last year to $1,800 today. Most popular DAT companies, such as Strive, Metaplanet, and Nakamoto Inc., have plunged.
Still, the Hyperliquid Strategies (PURR) stock has been in a strong bull run, moving from a low of $2.9 in December to $10.7 today. PURR’s market cap has soared from $391 million to $1.5 billion today.
The company has achieved this success by accumulating more than 26.2 million HYPE tokens, valued at over $1.9 billion. HYPE has been one of the best-performing coins this year, jumping 266% from its lowest point and now at an all-time high. The Hyperliquid token has become the 9th-largest coin in crypto, with a valuation of $19 billion.

PURR Stock Jumped as Hyperliquid’s HYPE Token Jumps to ATH
The token has surged this year, supported by its strong fundamentals. Hyperliquid has emerged as the leading player in the perpetual futures market, processing more than $239 billion in trading volume over the past 30 days. Its volume far exceeds that of competitors such as Aster, ApeX Protocol, Lighter, and GRVT.

Hyperliquid has also established itself as a significant force in the prediction markets industry through its Outcome product, further strengthening its position within the broader decentralized finance ecosystem.
This growth, together with its strong performance in the stablecoin industry, has helped its revenue continue rising. It generated over $930 million in the last 12 months, making it the fourth-most-profitable platform after Tether, Tron, and Circle.
Its revenue growth is important as the network uses its token to burn its coins. Indeed, it is removing more tokens from circulation than it is bringing online, one of the best features.
At the same time, HYPE ETFs are beating Bitcoin and Ethereum, which have shed assets in the past few months. The funds added $39 million this month after adding $132 million in the previous month. These funds now hold HYPE tokens worth over $200 million, with Bitwise’s fund holding $122 million in assets.
