  • Stellar joined Open USD and launched USST to expand RWA settlement use.
  • XLM price reclaimed $0.20 as trading volume surged more than 52%.
  • Bulls defend $0.193 support while $0.2166 remains key resistance.
  • RWA growth, analyst optimism and altcoin strength supported demand.

Stellar price gained roughly 10% today after a series of institutional announcements placed the network at the center of real-world asset settlement. The latest catalyst came as Stellar joined Open USD as a launch partner and expanded its own stablecoin infrastructure. Buyers quickly rotated into the Stellar coin, lifting it into CoinMarketCap’s top daily gainers.

Stellar Price Rises After Open USD and USST Launches

The Open USD initiative is backed by more than 140 companies, including Visa, Mastercard, Coinbase and BlackRock, and is designed to lower minting and redemption costs at scale. This also explains why Coinbase stock surged by over 12% on July 1 after the announcement.

Separately, the Stellar Development Foundation partnered with STBL on July 1 to introduce USST, an institutional-grade stablecoin backed by tokenized Treasury assets, including USDY. The launch strengthens Stellar’s role as a settlement network for tokenized assets, which already exceed $3 billion, creating another liquidity source for institutional users. Initial USST minting activity and any future expansion to Franklin Templeton’s BENJI are the next milestones traders are watching.

Network development continued alongside those announcements. On June 29, Stellar introduced a developer preview of Confidential Tokens on testnet, built with OpenZeppelin and Nethermind, that allows private balances and transfer amounts while preserving compliance features such as auditor access, selective disclosure, configurable policy engines, and account freezing. The feature targets treasury management, payroll, and institutional settlement rather than anonymous transfers, with production audits still underway.

Broader market conditions also helped, with the Altcoin Season Index rising 6.38% as capital rotated selectively into altcoins, including top names like Lighter, Jupiter, MemeCore, and Venice Token. At the time of writing, XLM traded near $0.198, with market capitalization at $6.75 billion, 24-hour trading volume climbing to roughly $520 million, and volume up more than 52%.

XLM Price Prediction Hinges on Break Above $0.2040

Technically, buyers have reversed the late-June slide from above $0.245, where selling pressure finally exhausted itself around $0.166 before a rounding accumulation base formed.

A sharp V-shaped recovery erased nearly two weeks of losses in about 48 hours, backed by expanding green volume that confirmed aggressive buying rather than a weak rebound. As Stellar price reclaimed the psychologically important $0.20 level on a 52% increase in volume, trading shifted into a tight consolidation between approximately $0.1930 and $0.2040, where bulls have absorbed overhead supply instead of giving back gains.

Volume has since contracted inside that range, matching a textbook continuation pattern after the breakout. RSI previously reached about 75 before cooling to 63.92 amid sideways trading instead of a sharp decline, keeping momentum constructive.

The lower boundary near $0.1930 now serves as support after flipping former resistance, while a sustained four-hour close above $0.2040 would expose the neckline at $0.2165. A daily close beyond that level would complete the broader reversal and reopen the path toward the prior $0.245 region, forming the current Stellar price prediction.

Failure to hold $0.1930, however, would invalidate the handle structure and shift focus back toward the psychological $0.1800 support zone.
