  • Volume jumps over 90% while Uniswap coin ranks among top daily gainers
  • Bullish setup targets $4 unless price falls back below support

Uniswap price climbed more than 12% today after Robinhood launched its Layer-2 blockchain with Uniswap as the network’s primary public automated market maker.

The announcement immediately put the UNI token at the center of Robinhood Chain’s trading infrastructure. At the time of writing, the Uniswap coin traded around $3.19 with 24-hour volume exceeding $317 million after nearly doubling during the session.

UNI Price Surges After Robinhood Chooses Protocol for New L2

Robinhood Chain launched with Uniswap v2, v3, v4, and UniswapX available from day one through the Uniswap Web App, Wallet, and API. Users can already swap assets, provide liquidity, trade Robinhood Stock Tokens, and interact with the protocol across the new chain.

Developers can integrate Robinhood Chain through the Uniswap API, while Uniswap Labs is preparing three additional skills for its uniswap-trading-tools AI plugin. The protocol also released an open-source AI skill library to help coding agents integrate trading, liquidity tools, and swap planning on Robinhood Chain.

The integration extends beyond a listing. Uniswap serves as the native automated market maker for Robinhood Chain, validating its technology through a major traditional finance platform and positioning it as the default liquidity layer for tokenized stocks and real-world assets, a market the bank projects could reach $4 trillion by 2028.

That could increase protocol trading volume and fee generation over time, with demand for UNI potentially benefiting as fee burns become more meaningful.

Token Terminal data also showed Uniswap remains one of the largest decentralized exchanges, ranking second by daily active users with 217,100 users and a 13.2% market share, while generating $24.5 million in revenue over the past 365 days, placing eighth among DEX protocols.

Buyers Defend Breakout as Uniswap Price Prediction Targets $4

The technical structure has shifted after UNI completed what appears to be an accumulation-and-reversal pattern. A liquidity sweep near $2.35 cleared sellers before producing the mid-June impulse move, followed by several weeks of consolidation inside a wedge. Uniswap price has now broken above that compressed structure, suggesting buyers have regained control.

Momentum also confirms the move, with the RSI (14) having climbed to 61.16, remaining above both the neutral 50 level and its 50.48 moving average, leaving room before reaching overbought territory. Uniswap coin price has also reclaimed the 20-day SMA at $2.981, converting it into dynamic support as the average begins to slope higher.

For the near-term Uniswap price prediction, the preferred scenario remains a hold above the breakout area around $3.05-$3.10, with a measured move projecting toward $4.00 and an initial profit-taking zone near $3.95.

Failure to maintain the breakout, particularly on a daily close below $2.90, would invalidate the setup, while an RSI move back below its moving average would strengthen the case for a return toward trendline support near $2.70.
