TRON price is at an inflection point, as the token is holding near the $0.28 level, the exact price at which TRON Inc. just made a fresh treasury purchase, amid the network posting the strongest on-chain revenue figures of any L1 blockchain.

The confluence of institutional buying at current support and surging fundamental activity has put the market on watch: either this level holds and builds a base for recovery, or it gives way and opens the door to a deeper pullback. With TRX still trading more than 35% below its all-time high, the direction of the next move carries real weight.

TRX Price Tests Long-Term Trendline Support for Third Time

On the 4-hour chart with Ichimoku overlays, TRX is changing hands for $0.2854, inside the cloud, with the Tenkan-sen at $0.2857 and the Kijun-sen at $0.2847, both in proximity, compressing momentum.

Relative Strength Index (RSI) (7) reads 57.47 while the signal line sits at 39.58, a spread that reflects a short-term bounce within a still-uncertain trend structure. Price recovered from an RSI flush near the 10 zone in early February, but selling pressure hasn’t fully cleared.

Analyst FOUR noted on February 16 that the Tron price is approaching its long-term ascending trendline for the third time, a pattern that held in 2019 and again mid-cycle. Third taps on macro trendlines draw buyers, but they also attract traders positioned for a breakdown if confirmation doesn’t follow quickly.

With Tron price currently at $0.2855 and near-term resistance clustered around $0.2872, the trendline defense is active but not yet confirmed. A sustained hold above $0.28 keeps the structure intact, while a failure there reopens the next meaningful support level below.

Tron Inc. Deepens Treasury Position as Network Activity Surges

There are also fundamental factors that support the long-term outlook for the Tron coin. For instance, Tron Inc. (NASDAQ: TRON) acquired 177,493 TRX today at an average of $0.28, pushing total treasury holdings past 683.5 million TRX. The purchase lands directly at the current support, reinforcing the $0.28 level as a zone the company is actively defending with capital.

The network itself is generating the kind of on-chain numbers that justify the attention. As noted in TRON’s Q4 quarterly report, TRON now counts 367 million accounts, daily transactions routinely exceed 10 million, and the network peaked at 12.6 million transactions on October 28, 2025, a surge directly tied to a DAO proposal that cut energy fees by 60% to reduce USDT transfer costs.

Over 85 billion USDT, roughly half the global supply, moves through TRON for peer-to-peer and cross-border settlement. Over the last 30 days, protocol revenue hit $195 million, capturing 56.6% of all L1 blockchain revenue, well clear of Ethereum at $4.6 million and Solana at $2.2 million.

TRX listings on Bitstamp and developer grants through TRON DAO have added additional growth vectors, positioning the network toward AI-driven payment infrastructure amid 2.5 million daily active users.
