Sui, the recently launched Layer 1 blockchain and smart contract platform created by the core research team behind Facebook’s Libra and Diem projects, has partnered with Space and Time (SxT). Space and Time is a verifiable compute layer that will provide builders on Sui seamless access to off-chain data.
As part of this announcement, shared exclusively with Bankless Times, SxT is being named the preferred data warehouse for the Sui ecosystem, providing a full stack of zero-knowledge-proof-based (ZK) tools to developers building on Sui.
Low fees and high-speed transactions
Sui, which offers uniquely low fees, fast transactions and high scalability, allows developers to build decentralized applications and games that enable true ownership of in-game assets. The new partnership with Space and Time ensures that Sui developers have the ZK tools that they need to build robust, data-driven dApps and games that join verifiable on- and off-chain data.

Chainlink’s preferred data warehouse
SxT recently rolled out Pay per Compute pricing that allows developers to pay only for the queries that they run. SxT is the preferred data warehouse for the Sui ecosystem and was also recently announced as the preferred data warehouse for the Chainlink ecosystem.
With Space and Time, developers can run analytics to generate deeper insights around what their community is doing in-game and on-chain, to understand what in-game events led to an on-chain purchase. Gaming smart contracts can also query Space and Time directly to mint rewards for players based on in-game events.
Tamperproof SQL query results
Proof of SQL, Space and Time’s novel ZK-proof, cryptographically guarantees that indexed data, offchain data and SQL query results are verifiable and tamperproof, allowing developers to connect their gaming smart contracts to offchain ZK-proven gaming data and SQL compute.
