Tony has written communication pieces in the non-profit, professional and amateur sports, social services and municipal government fields since 1998. Most recently employed in health education, Tony was concerned about educating people about the need for organ donation, protection from e-coli poisoning and the growing incidence of diabetes in northern communities.
While employed in municipal government Tony initiated a promotional magazine, My Springfield, that was designed to attract business, residents and tourists to the area. He also played a leading role in the establishment of a municipal library system in the region.
Tony graduated from the University of Manitoba with degrees in Contemporary American History and Recreation and later received a diploma in Public Relations from the University of Winnipeg.
