Binance announced a strategic partnership with Franklin Templeton to jointly expand digital asset products for global investors.
The collaboration aims to merge Franklin Templeton’s expertise in the compliant tokenization of securities with Binance’s leading global trading infrastructure and unmatched investor reach.
Together, their goal is to design innovative digital asset solutions that deliver efficient settlement, transparent pricing, and access to competitive yields, meeting the evolving needs of both institutional and retail investors.
Sandy Kaul, Executive Vice President and Head of Innovation at Franklin Templeton, emphasized that blockchain technology represents an opportunity rather than a threat to legacy finance. He noted,
“By working with Binance, we can harness tokenization to bring institutional-grade solutions like our Benji Technology Platform to a wider set of investors and help bridge the worlds of traditional and decentralized finance.”
Binance To Launch Future Products
Binance’s Catherine Chen, Head of VIP & Institutional, called the new partnership “a commitment to bridge crypto with traditional capital markets and open up greater possibilities,” leveraging Binance’s global platform that serves more than 280 million users.
Franklin Templeton’s blockchain-based Benji platform, which pioneered tokenized money market funds, is viewed as a key part of these emerging offerings.
The partnership intends to move tokenization “from concept to practice,” delivering breakthrough products including tokenized securities, yield-generating digital portfolios, and enhanced solutions for settlement and collateral management at scale.
Both companies agree that the expansion of digital asset products brings unprecedented accessibility and efficiency to capital markets, particularly for investors seeking dependable, compliant solutions outside the U.S.
Financial Institutions Embrace Blockchain
The announcement highlights a broader trend in the sector as top financial institutions use blockchain to integrate with decentralised markets and tokenise real-world assets. Later this year, detailed product launch details are anticipated, along with information on how the collaboration may influence the digital assets market.
Binance and Franklin Templeton aim to accelerate the global adoption and advancement of digital asset solutions by combining their extensive capital market expertise with crypto-native innovation. This might revolutionise how investors engage with finance for years to come.
