Maple Finance (SYRUP) token is trading higher today, gaining roughly 13% over the past 24 hours, with the price near $0.34 and volume up more than 70% during the same period. The token has also seen a 25% increase over the last 7 days. It is among the top gainers in the top-100 cohort today, according to CoinMarketCap data.
The Maple Finance price increase comes alongside a series of concrete fundamental catalysts, including Maple’s largest loan to date, a new high in outstanding borrows, and accelerating protocol revenues.
On-Chain Lending and Integration Tailwinds
New data reveal that Maple Finance issued its largest loan ever yesterday: $500 million. Also, it reached a new ATH in outstanding borrows.
An analyst member described Maple as “one of the most incredible growth stories in DeFi” and called SYRUP a high-conviction position at Relayer Capital, citing repeated positive data points.
The attached Dune chart shows “Loans Outstanding by Day” rising steeply into late 2025 and setting fresh highs, directly tying fundamental lending growth to the current token price move.
Additional fundamental data reinforces that backdrop. Maple’s TVL has surpassed $4B in deposits, and Q4 revenue is projected at $6.6M, up 533% year-over-year.
Yield-bearing stablecoins syrupUSDC and syrupUSDT are now integrated with Aave, Pendle, and Kamino, supporting leveraged yield strategies and broadening protocol utility.
With Maple’s institutional loan book yielding about 8% APY, value accrual is linked to real borrowing demand rather than purely speculative flows.
Sid Powell added in the Founders’ Letter on December 24 that “2025 was a landmark year for Maple Finance” and highlighted a $100M ARR north star for 2026, positioning Maple to become “the standard-bearer for Onchain Asset …” in 2026.
The forthcoming Q4 2025 financials, due in January 2026, are a near-term focus, with consensus expectations above $7M if current growth continues. These datapoints collectively frame the price move as responding to measurable revenue, TVL expansion, and product integration milestones.
Maple Finance Price Technical Outlook
The market structure and technical indicators are favorable but not overly euphoric. On TradingView, the short-term EMAs/SMA sets (10/20/30/50) are in the Buy zone, whereas the coin trades below the 100- and 200-period moving averages at $0.3631 and $0.4206, indicating a rally within a still-recovering long-term trend.

Oscillators remain mostly neutral, limiting the current upward movement. The RSI (14) stands at 61.09, showing a neutral stance that avoids overbought or oversold levels.
Maple Finance is trading around $0.35, with a 24-hour volume of $19.7 million and a market capitalization of approximately $397 million.
In trader terms, maintaining a price above short-term moving averages keeps momentum intact; the longer-term moving averages flagged as currently above the current price mark are the key areas where rallies may encounter resistance.
