FLOKI has unveiled FlokiHub, an innovative decentralized identity platform built on the recently launched Floki Name Service and powered by the SPACE ID protocol.
This aligns with the project’s aim to develop real-world applications beyond its viral origins and adds to its ecosystem. The latter already includes gaming (Valhalla), decentralized finance (FlokiFi), educational platforms (Floki University), and charitable initiatives.
The identity platform leverages the Floki Name Service, which launched on the BNB Chain mainnet in partnership with SPACE ID protocol in June 2024. This service enables users to create personalized .floki domain names, which simplify interactions with decentralized applications across the Web3 landscape.
How the FlokiHub Works
Through FlokiHub, users obtain a universal digital identity through customizable .floki domains. Beyond simple identification, the domains are useful in establishing decentralized websites, blogs, and resumes, among other things.
The platform, which is based on the BNB Chain, provides decentralization for security and transparency and preserves smooth interaction with well-known cryptocurrency apps like Trust Wallet, SafePal, PancakeSwap, and OKX Wallet.
FLOKI’s multi-chain capability operates on both Ethereum (ERC-20 token) and Binance Smart Chain (BEP-20 token). This offers users flexibility in choosing between Ethereum’s security and established ecosystem or BSC’s lower fees and faster transaction times.
With the upcoming launch of Floki’s decentralized website service, the utility of these domains aims to expand even further.
Enhanced Token Utility
The name service uses $FLOKI tokens exclusively for all transactions within the ecosystem, enhancing the token’s utility and reinforcing the ecosystem’s core principles.
The decentralized identification platform follows other recent projects. These include the FLOKI Mastercard debit card rollout in 31 European countries. There is also the early 2025 introduction of a FLOKI ETP (Exchange-Traded Product) on Switzerland’s SIX Swiss Exchange.
