Abu Dhabi-based AltNovel has introduced the AltNovel Digital Access Portfolio (ADAP) in collaboration with 3iQ. With the announcement on May 7, 2025, the UAE will be at the forefront of digital finance innovation as the region’s first-ever digital asset multi-strategy fund launches.
This fund combines AltNovel’s creative portfolio structuring skills with 3iQ’s extensive experience in digital asset management. The fund is FSRA-regulated and headquartered in the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), ADAP seeks to give institutional-grade access to the quickly changing digital asset class to qualified professional investors.
ADAP Multi-Strategy Portfolio
The fund consists of alpha-focused strategies for digital assets that seek to offer robust absolute returns devoid of linkage to traditional assets. It seeks to minimize drawdowns to as low as 2.4% while achieving annual returns of more than 20%.
Additionally, it distinguishes itself from other assets like equities, Bitcoin, and other digital assets by concentrating on providing greater risk-adjusted returns. It offers varied exposure across markets in an effort to lower volatility and boost returns.

AltNovel uses its advantageous location in ADGM, Abu Dhabi’s international financial center. This location provides a vital link between regional private wealth and worldwide investment prospects. The platform leverages technology to democratize access to private markets, increasing qualified investors’ access to sophisticated investment instruments.
However, 3iQ brings at least ten years of experience to the collaboration. In order to increase investor returns, it recently incorporated staking into its Ethereum ETPs. 3iQ has also been the first to introduce Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded products listed on a significant international stock exchange.
