- Sensorium’s partnership with Polygon Studios will enable the metaverse to access a super-fast, low-fee, green blockchain
Metaverse and Web3 developer Sensorium and Polygon Studios have reached a partnership to develop highly realistic VR worlds focused on immersive musical experiences, Bankless Times learned from a press release.
Concerts, meditation, and NFTs
The Sensorium Galaxy Metaverse will feature meditation sessions, music concerts, the possibility to create NFTs, and social networking with virtual AI-based beings.
Sensorium, which was founded in 2018, is using long-term collaborations with Steve Aoki, David Guetta, and other world-famous, chart-topping performers to shape the future of the metaverse and metaverse-based experiences.
Low-fee, high-speed blockchain
Sensorium’s partnership with Polygon Studios will enable the metaverse to access a super-fast, low-fee, green blockchain and a host of scaling solutions to power a Play-to-Earn game, the project’s token, UNDER, a recently announced virtual land platform, and NFT-related features within the Sensorium Galaxy Metaverse.
P2E tycoon game is the flagship product
The first Sensorium product to be built on Polygon will be a P2E game called SENSO dApp. In this game, players will have to sell tickets in exchange for SENSO tokens, organize metaverse music events, and scout NFT artists. Sensorium’s Chief Officer of Web3 Alexander Firsov said:
Polygon is a go-to hub for some of the most important Web3 projects, and having the platform as our partner is an important step in raising the ambitions we have for Sensorium’s blockchain ecosystem.
Said Urvit Goel, Polygon VP of Platform Business and Global Game Development, added:
Sensorium will be able to tap into a vast, sustainable, and highly composable ecosystem and offer its users low-cost and efficient transactions backed by Ethereum’s robust security model. We’re eager to see the Sensorium ecosystem grow and flourish under this alliance.
Why Polygon?
Polygon hosts leading Web3 projects such as UniSwap, Aave, and OpenSea among thousands of others.
With low fees, lightning-speed transactions, and the launch of zkEVM and other top-quality scaling solutions, Polygon’s carbon-neutral network is well-loved by global brands like Stripe, Adobe, Meta, and Robinhood, who have used it to make their entry into Web3.
