AlchemyPay and OKX Announce Partnership in 5 Countries

AlchemyPay and OKX announced a partnership to expand the crypto exchange’s fiat on-ramp offerings to users in Mexico, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam, Bankless Times learned from a press release. OKX, which is the second-biggest exchange in the world, has enabled AlchemyPay for the official currencies of those countries.

Buying crypto with EFT systems

AlchemyPay is a hybrid crypto-fiat payment system with the native token ACH. It allows exchange users to buy crypto with some electronic funds transfer systems. The new partnership with the exchange will make it possible for people to use more accessible digital payment methods to buy, but not sell crypto. It will be especially beneficial for the underbanked and unbanked.

OKX recently announced it was launching virtual asset services via its new Hong Kong entity, where it has also expanded. The exchange plans to apply for Type 1 & 7 licenses in the city-state, which has become a magnet for crypto companies.

New Diamond tier for P2P advertising

In related news, OKX launched a new Diamond advertising tier for its P2P merchant and advertising partners. It offers priority ad placement, quicker access to the highest-quality support, a higher buy and sell ad limit, and up to twice the transaction sum per ad.

Partners of the exchange who have completed over 500 P2P orders and more than 90% of ads and are members of the Super tier at the moment will qualify for the Diamond tier.

With the new tier, OKX’s top merchant/advertiser partners will enjoy a series of advantages for their campaigns.
