Alternative finance provider Capify has hired David A. Frankel as its first Chief Marketing Officer.
Mr. Frankel will be based in New York City and will oversee global marketing and brand development in the wake of Capify’s consolidation of four separate companies based in Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Before joining Capify Mr. Frankel was CMO at EDGAR Online, a provider of data from filings and disclosure documents. The company was backed by Bain Capital.
Mr. Frankel has additional senior executive sales and marketing experience with FactSet Research Systems, Bank of New York, and FirstRain.
Mr. Frankel joins Capify at a time the company is posting new global funding highs, thanks to strong growth in its foreign markets, the company said in a release.
“Today, Capify is one of the most diverse and robust alternative finance platforms for small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) across the globe,” Capify CEO David Goldin said. “Our record growth in July, David’s hire as chief marketing officer, our Inc. 5000 placement and our team’s business excellence award in Australia are testaments and ringing endorsements of our international expertise and proven model of success.”
“Reflecting on our achievements so far this year, and what we have planned in the future, I’m very excited for Capify to continue our momentum and growth as an international leader in the FinTech and alternative finance space.”
