A partnership recently announced between Aventus Network, FanDragon Technologies and Live Nation SAS (France) heralds a change in how fans will participate in the event enjoyment experience.
Aventus and FanDragon have launched TixTo.Me in partnership with Live Nation France. The universal digital entertainment wallet is designed to create new opportunities for Live Nation customers to engage, communicate and reap rewards before, during and after the event.
TixTo.Me employs FanDragon’s Universal Smart Ticket Wallet to gather all tickets and vouchers in one place, no matter where they were purchased. That allows them to deliver those special extras directly to one location, guaranteed they are headed to the rightful holder. The wallet is powered by the Aventus Network, a second-layer blockchain protocol that brings scalability, speed and economy to Ethereum transactions.
This is only the beginning of the transformation coming to the event experience, FanDragon CEO Alan Rakov said.
“We don’t live in a world now where people think there’s still going to be people without phones and mobile tickets getting into venues. It’s all going to be digital tickets.”
Mr. Rakov said we are at the first batter in the first inning in terms of the opportunities to improve the ticketing experience, but he’s excited about the possibilities as companies build out solutions and address such eternal bugaboos as service fees.
“In the world of blockchain why do those fees exist at all?”Mr. Rakov asked. “Suddenly there’s a 10 per cent across the board reduction of the fees consumers pay. That’s significant over time and at scale.”
“Blockchain brings the interoperability notion of a universal wallet,” Mr. Vey added. “Because the blockchain plugs in there and holds the representation of that ticket, you can move that ticket around the various FanDragon-enabled wallets very easily because of that interoperability piece of that public blockchain.”
